Fraudulent Life

Confessions of a Millennial Housewife

About

Hey there! I’m Charlie North; a poet, artist, and self-proclaimed domestic adventurer. Welcome to my sliver of the internet, where I discuss on everything from identity and faith to the wild world of cosmetic surgery, parenting wins (and fails), and even the occasional existential crisis (and there are many). If you’ve ever wondered how to juggle all the weird, wonderful challenges life throws your way, or just want a space to laugh, reflect, and feel a little less alone; pull up a chair and join the conversation!

This all started when I looked in the mirror and no longer recognized myself. The woman I saw had tweezed, injected, carved, and sacrificed herself to fit an image that reflected the ideals of the world around her; and her spirit and body had begun to rebel. Who did I want to be? Who did I model my life after? When the fabricated appearance I had built began to fail, a radical encounter with God changed the trajectory of my life. So, buckle up, this is the fraudulent life of a millennial housewife.
